Privacy Policy

Grounded Wings is Megan Long's practice, based in California. This page says what information the site collects, why, and what your choices are. Last updated October 15, 2026.

What we collect

What you send us. When you book, ask a question or sign up for the free guide or event updates, we receive the details you type: your name, email address, the session you're interested in, preferred times, your time zone and anything you write in the message box.
Session details. If you book a session, we keep your appointment time, how you paid (not your card number) and any notes you choose to share.
Basic technical data. Our hosting provider logs standard information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To reply to you, confirm and deliver sessions, and send receipts.
To send the emails you asked for (the free guide, expo dates, the occasional note). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop at any time.
To keep the site working and protect it from spam and abuse.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

What you share in a session

Anything you tell Megan in a session, or in a message, is confidential. It is not shared, published or used in testimonials unless you give explicit written permission.

Who helps us run the site

Form submissions are delivered by Web3Forms. The site is hosted by a standard web host. Email is handled by our email provider. Each of these companies processes your data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Messages and booking requests are kept for as long as needed to serve you, and no longer than three years. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and unsubscribe from any email. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor them for everyone. Email hello@groundedwings.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information and do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" signals, because we do not track you across other sites.

Children

Sessions are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
